Good morning all! As we are getting closer to my start date, my calendar is filling fast. I only have a handful of days left at the end of the month. If you want a good day on the water in July give me a shout and we will get you setup.
The rest of the summer should be good fishing, but July is when we see a lot of our good hatches before we get into all terrestrial and dropper fishing. The water is going to be a bit low this summer and you may hear the boat scraping the bottom of the river a lot. But there will still be plenty of fish. The lower water actually creates some easier fishing as the fish don’t have as many of those deep cooler holes that they usually spread out in. So finding them should never be the issue. But finding which bug they want for the day. We know they are going to be seeking deeper/cooler water and looking for easy meals that don’t take a lot of energy to grab quick.
With all that being said, if you can’t make July then no worries. August and September should provide some great opportunities as well.
If you have any questions about what it may be like around the time you are coming, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Thanks!
Byron
