July 13th, 2020
The sun has been shining, the fish have been hungry and I have not had a day off in 11 days. Though it seemed like it took awhile with the rain and crazy high and low temperatures, the season has started and it is AWESOME! Stick around to see how awesome…

Rivers/Water Update
The rivers are still on their way down as the rain and cold temperatures slowed the snow melt and made the water levels super weird for this time of year. However the flow typically isn’t as important as the clarity of the water and the water is clear down to 4-5 feet and getting clearer everyday. The Green is seeing good grey drake hatches with some good dry fly opportunity in the morning and switching to a dry dropper in the afternoon and looking for the terrestrial bite. The Salt is still pretty high for this time of year but the water is clear and the fish are hungry. The dry dropper bite is really good all day with many mayflies hatching all day, have an assortment of bugs! The Snake is getting better everyday and coming down. The fishing is much similar to the Salt and the Green.
Availability
Once again you guys have been great and keeping me super busy! I can’t thank everyone enough and hope to see everyone again and again. My next available day is 7/24 and i’m pretty open through 8/1. As I’ve told many people who have asked, the end of July through the beginning of September is some of the best and most consistent fishing Western Wyoming can offer. Let me know if you would like to get in on some of this action!
Upcoming Week
This week I am all over the place with a couple of half days on the Salt, a full day on the Snake and a walk and wade trip on Flat Creek. It will be nice to have a change of scenery and some different challenges in finding these elusive critters.
