June 5, 2020
As we are inching closer and closer to the start of the season, things keep changing every day. Here are a just a few of the exciting new things going on!
Permits
I have had several clients in the past ask if I had access to other rivers and the answer was usually no. This year I have partnered up with some guide services in Jackson to offer access to the Snake and Green rivers. These come with some different availability and a different price, but if this is something that interests you, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Availability
With COVID restrictions lifting and summer being so close, more and more people are figuring out their summer plans and booking trips. Most years at this point I have a handful of trips lined up before I get back to Wyoming. This year however, I get the feeling that people are itching to get back outside and I have been steadily booking trips. I still have a ton of availability for the summer, but if you have some dates in mind I wouldn’t wait to long to reach out. Also I will continue these posts towards the end of every week to give you an update on next weeks availability.
Water Update
It would appear we are over the hump and the flows are slowly coming down. Typically we see the Green become fishable mid too late June with the Salt not far behind it. The Snake is usually ready to go by early July. So if you are itching to get out the Green should be good to go in a couple of weeks.
