Week 2 – Pre Season Update

May 27, 2020

Hey everyone! Once again I am making a post to give a quick update with what is going on before we start the season!

COVID
Im sure a lot of you are taking proper precautions and keeping safe in these strange times. This summer I will be taking the same precautions after every trip with sanitizing the equipment and giving the boat a good wash and disinfecting wipe down. As far as food and beverages go, all the beverages will be bottled or canned and wipes will be available to disinfect before drinking. The food will be either bought pre prepared or in a way that you will be the only person touching it. If you are concerned about wearing masks, please bring your own and I will make sure to have my buff on as well. And though we are a little bit closer than 6 feet together in the boat, we will still take every precaution to limit contact, i.e. elbow bumps when fish are caught!

Traveling Restrictions
For those of you haven’t heard yet, Wyoming has lifted its 14 day self quarantine and has started selling single day fishing licenses to non residents again. Wyoming is taking all necessary precautions while opening back up and is well on the path back to business as usual. All signs are pointing to a great summer season in Star Valley.

Water Update
Runoff is still in full swing so fishing right now is a no go, at least for the Salt. Hopefully we will have good water and hungry fish somewhere close to the last week of June.
