May 20, 2020
I figured most of you have spent just as much time as I have worrying about what summer 2020 will look like. Let me tell you about what you can look forward to if you book a fly fishing trip with me!
Bookings
I will be booking full and half day trips, hopefully starting in late June, and running usually until mid-October (it all depends on when the phone stops ringing). Packages allow for up to 2 anglers per boat — if additional boats are needed, I work with a guide named Chad. He works a day job, so he is limited, but we will do everything in our power to make it happen! My goal for each of my clients is that you leave feeling like you learned something, and that you truly enjoyed yourself in one of my favorite places in the world.
Trip Packages
Trips start at $395, for a half-day (4-6 hours), and go up to $495 for a full-day (6-8 hours). A half-day trip includes beverages and some snacks — such as chips and granola bars. A full-day trip includes beverages and a full lunch — usually a sandwich, chips, and fruit/granola bars. I will reach out, up to a week before your trip, to be sure to accommodate any dietary restrictions.
What to Expect
On your trip most things that you need for a day on the water will be included. As I like to say, I have everything assuming you have nothing. However if you have your own gear, please feel free to bring it. Some things that I may not have, and would recommend are — sunscreen, bug spray, sunglasses, a hat, rain jacket, and some extra layers. Also, I can never guarantee your feet will stay dry, so a pair of water shoes are recommended.
As I will be somewhat of a one man operation, please don’t worry if I don’t answer the phone right away — chances are I’m on the river. Just shoot me a text (307-264-0785), or leave me a voicemail, and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
I hope to keep doing these posts weekly for the summer to give everyone updates on my availability, and some fishing reports along the way.
I hope everyone is doing well, and doing as much fishing as they can!
